Diesel Driven Pump Unit Overview

The diesel driven pump unit is the perfect combination of mechanical and electrical integration. This diesel-powered water pump is characterized by fast startup and reliable water supply. The intelligent pump unit maintains a stable connection with the diesel engine through a flexible coupling. Its optimized structure and cavitation resistance contribute to outstanding efficiency, lower noise, stable performance, and easy installation.

Applications

This series of diesel driven pump units has been widely applied for transporting clean water and other liquids with similar physical and chemical properties to water. Common applications include:

  • Firefighting systems
  • Waterworks
  • Building water supply
  • Irrigation and drainage pump stations
  • Power plants
  • Industrial water supply systems
  • Shipbuilding
  • Mine drainage
  • Petrochemical and metallurgical industries

Advantages

  • Equipped with superior engines from renowned national and international suppliers, featuring high speed, exceptional durability, and strong loading capacity.
  • Easy installation: simply connect water inlet and outlet pipes.
  • Remote control via telephone line or network cable for supervision, communication, and adjustment.
  • Compact structure with minimized footprint, ideal for space-constrained applications.
  • Sub-base tank provides 8 hours of oil supply with fuel level monitoring and low fuel level alarm.
  • Small Cummins engines feature top tanking motors, offering compact size, light weight, energy efficiency, and high emission standards for excellent price/performance ratio.
  • Large power diesel engines use mature engineering motors and advanced electronic speed control and protection systems to ensure exceptional performance.

Control Cabinet

Four control methods are available:

  • Manual Start: Operators press the start button on the control panel to start or stop the pump unit.
  • Automatic Start: Receives control signals from fire fighting systems, pipeline pressure, or other automatic signals to start the pump automatically.
  • Remote Start: Allows remote control, monitoring, communication, and adjustment via network connection.
  • Forced Start: Used in special circumstances, such as system failure, to force the pump unit to start.

Functions

  • Automatic Charging: Accumulator can be automatically charged by mains supply or diesel engine for smooth startup.
  • Automatic Inspection: Cummins diesel engine and pump unit are automatically checked to ensure stable performance.
  • Automatic Alarm: Operator safety is enhanced with alarms for low oil pressure, high water temperature, overspeed, and other failures.
  • Automatic Pre-heat: Cummins diesel engine is always ready to provide standby power.
  • Customizable Alarms: Customers can set alarms for other operational failures.
