Power Take-Off (PTO) for Ships

Our power take-off (PTO) is the main power output device equipped on ships. This power transfer system ensures that all ship equipment is powered efficiently. Our engine PTO is renowned for its low input and high output performance.

Applications

This power take-off is widely used in various industries, including:

  • Mining
  • Firefighting
  • Oil extraction
  • Automotive
  • Ships
  • Diesel engines
  • Mechanical conveying
  • Mixers
  • Air compressors
  • Freezing machines
  • Sand washers
  • Coal slurry washers
  • Brick-making equipment
  • High-lift washing equipment
  • Oil conveying machines
  • Wind blowers
  • Cable lifters
  • Net haulers
  • Other large equipment

Structure

  • Axial direction
  • Left and right
  • Low input and high output
  • One input and two outputs with two switches
  • One input and three outputs with three switches
  • Straight reduction gear with normal speed ratios: 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, 1:2.5, 1:3.5, 1:3.7. Special ratios include 1:4, 1:4.5, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7.

PTO Clutch

This engine auxiliary equipment is mainly used to supply stable power to the water pump. The traction device consists of the engine, clutch, control system, and sub-base. This PTO clutch is ideal for deployment on engine flywheels according to SAE standards. All clutch models and integrations are fully compatible. Sealed locating bearings address common lubrication issues.

Working Principles

The clutch functions as a power transfer control device with manual operation, ensuring smooth performance for the entire PTO system. A control cabinet provides an intuitive display of engine parameters and offers functions for system startup, shutdown, and alarms. The power output device is installed on a sub-base to form a complete power system.
